Dear Google Reader devs…
While the ‘like’ feature you stole from facebook, and the ‘popular items’ meta-feed are great. They are offset by one huge glaring hole. I need a ‘don’t like’ button for when I get sick of seeing the same crap posts over and over in the popular feed.
Perhaps you could actually make recommendations, rather than just blindly showing me items I probably don’t care about, while we’re at it. 4chan and failblog might be funny, but if I want that kind of humour, I know where to find it, give me proper recommendations based on the kind of things I’ve told you I like, not just ‘hurrr crashed car!!’
